Woman vs. Food

 

I am woman hear me roar...that roaring comes from my belly. I'm hungry! I want to lose weight but I still want to eat. What can I do? What fat burners can I use that are natural and tasty and will really pull the fat off? Co-Enzyme Q-10 has been in the news lately. Maybe I'll check it out and see what the fuss is.          Entering the term in Google nets me lots of results, but I ultimately discover that it is a nifty little enzyme that was discovered in 1957 by some scientists who were studying beef hearts...anyone else craving antichucos de carne? These doctors weren't mindlessly experimenting with cow organs; they were looking into the mechanics of energy conversion.  These scientists toiled over the pet project for years wondering if this enzyme had any nutritional significance and if it could possibly be used to treat diseases.

          They were right! It was used to successfully treat heart failure and other forms of heart disease. It has shown promise in the treatment of gum disease, cancer, Parkinson's disease, and migraines. Since it has been shown consistently to be low in the bodies of people with HIV, diabetes and cancer there is likely some link between its absence in the body and its usefulness.

          What caught my eye was that it is also deficient in people who are obese. Now I'm not obese, but I certainly don't want to get there. If there's anything I can do to head that off, I'm on it. Co-Enzyme Q-10 boosts a slow metabolism.  A slow metabolism means accelerated weight loss.  Now that's what I'm talking about!   Studies show how that taking a co-q-10 capsule along with a glass of grapefruit juice speeds up the fat burning exponentially.

          So I could take my little magic pill with a glass of grapefruit juice, or any other juice that I may have in my refrigerator. It is available in the crystalline powder form, but this is pretty insoluble and difficult to absorb on an empty stomach. My stomach is empty now, but I'd rather the soluble form which is best taken with food and absorbs twice as better when done so. They also come in handy little soft or hard gel capsules that can be taken with food. Now, what of the dosage? This natural fat burner comes in dosages of 100 mg, and 300 mg in the capsule form. You should always consult your doctor before you begin any supplement regime. They suggest that you take no more than 2000 mg a day, and 1200 mg a day is safe for consumption.
